Website Traffic Update: Dave Sullivan had sent in a report on website traffic. The largest no. of monthly hits was to the main webpage: 1300. Then: Race series: 723. The newsletter received 150 hits. CHaD: The club has been contacted by the new director, Andrea Denhart. She is requesting help with the mile markers and pacers, which the club is willing to do. She also told us that registration would be 50% off before Aug. 15, although it was unclear what the registration fee will be. She also requested that we promote the race in our newsletter. Main St. Mile: Tim reported that the Hanover Improvement Society is not interested in this endeavor, because of the need to close Main Street on the Friday evening of the Nugget anniversary celebration. However, Liz Burdette from Hanover Rec is working on a possible Sat. morning in September for the race. A box has been placed at Omer & Bob’s. He hopes to have one at the Race to the Pogue as well. Singlets: An inventory of racing singlets is being kept at Leb Rec. Those who race at least 2 away NHGP races are eligible for a free one. Chief Maloney 10k: Many UVRC members have signed up to race. The van will be leaving at 7:30 from behind Lebanon Town Hall. Winter TNT: Continues to go well, with good attendance. Timing Device: Paul has purchased a hand-held device, which loads directly to the computer. It will be used for the smaller races. UVRC Racing Singlets: They have been ordered, and will be available for runners to use this Saturday, in the first NHGP/UVRS race. Coach: There is no need to pursue this further, as Kim continues to be available as the club coach. Running Camp: Further discussion on this subject. Mile Markers: Jim emailed, and Paul confirmed, that the mile markers, with the UVRC logo, have been ordered and expect to be here in time for the Shamrock Shuffle. Winter TNT: Tim reported that has been great, with often 15 or more people showing up. We have also had members of the Dartmouth Triathlon Club and the Dartmouth Endurance Racing Team (DERT) join us, which has been good. Coach: Tim reported that he has stopped looking for a coach. NHGP: In December, Geoff and Jim attended the NHGP meeting in which the 2016 races were selected. That schedule has been posted on the UVRC website. Geoff will also post them to the website calendar. In addition, Julie will post the UVRS races to the calendar, Paul will post the Western NH Trail Races, and Mike will ask Lori to post the mountain series.
