The committee will review the submission, and grant the award as announced later this month. The idea was presented of having a special prize next year for those who complete 6 of the 8 in the series, such as a jacket. Some volunteers have stepped up, but more are needed. The first workout is Tuesday, April 25, at the HHS track. TNT: The HHS track will be available once permission is granted, and then workouts will be moved to the Dartmouth track after May 2. NHGP: Jim announced that the last race was attended by 24 members. Couch to 5K: Kevin announced that Brandon has agreed to coach the program, to be joined by Kim when she arrives in the area. Kevin said he would contact those in charge of the Dartmouth and HHS tracks, to determine availability and possible conflicts. The kickoff event will be April 13 at 7:15 at Cioffredi’s. Last year Hoka was a sponsor, and supplied promotional materials at every race, arranged through Rob Waryas at Omer & Bob’s. Paul reported that 14 people had already registered for the series. New member outreach: Dave reported that he and Megan had called each of the recent new members to welcome them to the club, and answer any questions they had. Board meeting schedule: After reviewing everyone’s availability, it was decided that we would alternate meetings between mornings and evenings each month. The evening meetings will be on Mondays at 7 at Paul’s offices at Lebanon City Hall; the morning meetings will be at 8 at Umpleby’s, in Hanover. Mike is currently in discussions with EMS, IBEX, and Harpoon Brewery. Once these are finalized, an announcement will be made to members. The suggestion was made to pursue a shoe company as well. Newsletter: Susannah continues to produce the newsletter, but has not been receiving many articles. There will be vanpools for both. Communications: Dave Sullivan, who has been managing our website, has determined that there are approximately 400 emails/year going to members. He is wondering if we should develop smaller, more-specific lists (such as training, racing, social, couch to 5k) so that members are not bombarded with emails that do not interest them.
