Newsletter Submission Guidelines

First off, thanks for being involved with the Upper Valley Running Club’s newsletter. As a volunteer-run committee, we created this guide to help make our lives easier when it comes to putting out a high-quality newsletter. We love submissions, so please keep them coming!

How to submit an article:

  1. Write an article!
  2. Find an awesome photo (or 3) to go along with it!
  3. Send the article text, images, your full name and an article title to newsletter@uppervalleyrunningclub.org as either a Google Doc or as text directly in the email. Please attach your images directly to the email (not embedded in the Google Doc).

We prefer Google docs or plain text in an email body. We accept, but strongly discourage, Microsoft Word or other word processor formats (Pages, etc.). We do not accept Powerpoint presentations, PDFs, or other non-word processor formats.

We love images! Formats accepted:

  • .jpg or .png files
  • Size minimum 500px on long side
  • Please attach images directly attached to the email
